Columbus acquires leading US consultancy

Columbus acquires InterDyn BMI, a leading US consulting company serving more than 2,000 customers. The acquisition strengthens Columbus' reach and position in the US market and acts as a platform for growth.

Copenhagen, 2015-02-02 08:48 CET (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Copenhagen, Denmark — February 2nd, 2015 — Columbus (OMX: COLUM) announces today that it has acquired InterDyn BMI, a leading US consultancy. With the acquisition of InterDyn BMI, Columbus seeks to increase its growth throughout the entire United States.

Since its founding in 1985, InterDyn BMI has built substantial market share and today services more than 2,000 customers. Interdyne BMI‘s coast-to-coast representation supports Columbus' ambition to strengthen the company's position as a global value provider for companies in the retail, manufacturing and food industries.

InterDyn BMI, which has 125 employees, will operate under the name InterDyn BMI, a Columbus company. In 2014, InterDyn BMI had a revenue of DKK 162m and earnings of DKK 4.3m.
