Ballerup, 2011-03-17 09:52 CET (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Columbus IT has just entered into agreement with one of Latvia’s largest retail companies regarding deliverance of a business critical IT-system. The agreement consists of Columbus IT´s retail-solution which will enable the Latvian retail-chain to control their expanding business and thus create better results.

The agreement includes deliverance of Columbus IT´s retail-solution which is based on Microsoft Dynamics AX for retail. The agreement also includes strategic planning and implementation, consultancy services and standard software. The new business solution will be delivered and implemented in all of the retail-chains stores which are situated in Riga, the capital of Latvia.

With this agreement Columbus IT takes a strategic step towards becoming the leading global provider of business critical IT-solutions for the retail-industry and based on this deal Columbus IT becomes the leading provider of these solutions in the Baltic’s.

The agreement with the Latvian retail-chain does not change Columbus IT´s expectations for the year.
