Columbus IT strengthens its group management
- and prepares for growth

Columbus IT has employed Claus Hansen as COO (Chief Operation Officer), and
member of the Columbus IT board of management. With Claus Hansen in the board
of management, Columbus IT wishes to strengthen its focus on the consolidation
of the market for business solutions.

The employment of the 42 year old Claus Hansen takes place in continuation of
the Columbus IT strategy to develop the company to become the leading software
and consulting company in the world, and to take active part in the up coming
consolidation of the market.

Columbus IT has for the past years implemented a strategy that has transformed
the company into becoming both a leading developer of Microsoft platform based
software, while remaining one of the largest IT consulting companies in the
world. Both markets are ready for consolidation, and Columbus IT wishes to take
active part in the marked consolidation. To do this requires a board of
management that has the strengths and capabilities to focus on both marked
areas.

Claus Hansen will take responsibility of the operational functions of Columbus
IT, and will be part of the board of management together with CFO Sven Madsen
and CEO Michael Gaardboe.

Claus Hansen comes from a position as Senior Vice President at Tectura, and has
more than 17 years of management experience from the IT sector. In 1999 Claus
Hansen was cofounder and COO in the building of Aston Group. From 2001 Claus
Hansen was active in the reconstruction and the re-establishment of the Aston
Group, which lead to the merger with US based Tectura in 2004. At Tectura Claus
Hansen was responsible for the company's EMEA activities.
